چکیده
The United Nations (UN) 2030 agenda on sustainable development goals (SDGs) encourages us to implement infrastructure and services for confronting challenges such as large energy consumption, solid waste generation, depletion of water resources emission greenhouse gases in the construction industry. Therefore, overcome establishing construction, there is a requirement integrate information technology with innovative manufacturing processes materials science. Moreover, wide implementation three-dimensional printing (3DP) constructing monuments, artistic objects, residential buildings has gained attention. integration Internet Things (IoT), cloud (CM), 3DP allows digitalize providing reliable digitalized features users. In this review article, we discuss opportunities implementing IoT, CM, 3D technologies building constructions achieving sustainability. recent convergence research are being explored article by categorizing them into multiple sections including resource access technology, platform (3D–PCP) service architectures, optimized configuration evaluation control monitoring technology. This paper also examines analyzes limitations existing and, moreover, provides key recommendations automation robotics, predictive analytics 3DP, eco-friendly 5G technology-based IoT-based CM future enhancements.

Survey on Additive Manufacturing, Cloud 3D Printing and Services
Cloud Manufacturing (CM) is the concept of using manufacturing resources in a service oriented way over the Internet. Recent developments in Additive Manufacturing (AM) are making it possible to utilise resources ad-hoc as replacement for traditional manufacturing resources in case of spontaneous problems in the established manufacturing processes. In order to be of use in these scenarios the A...
متن کاملFreeform 3D Printing: Towards a Sustainable Approach to Additive Manufacturing
Most additive manufacturing technologies, such as 3D printing, utilize support materials in the fabrication process. Beyond the technical challenges of support removal, these materials are wasteful – increasing fabrication and processing time while impacting quality. This paper presents “Freeform Printing”, a novel design approach for 3D printing without additional auxiliary structures. A 6-axi...
متن کامل3D Printing vs. Traditional Flexible Technology: Implications for Manufacturing Strategy
We study a firm’s manufacturing strategy under two types of flexible production technologies: the traditional flexible technology and 3D printing. Under the traditional flexible technology, capacity becomes more expensive as it handles more product variants; under 3D printing, however, capacity cost is independent of the number of product variants processed. The firm adopts a dedicated technolo...
متن کاملBridging gaps in cloud manufacturing with 3D printing
In order to keep up with the flexibility and cost-efficiency requirements, the manufacturing industry has begun a transformation process towards a service-oriented production approach. This approach is in line with the cloud manufacturing paradigm that applies established concepts from cloud computing to the manufacturing domain. Although the cloud manufacturing paradigm provides promising conc...
